When You Limit What You Will Do, You Limit What You Can Do

Want to be successful, rich and famous? The following short story with its moral will explain what it takes:

Once upon a time there was a man who didn’t know how to swim. He was fishing in the middle of a large lake with no one around and somehow fell overboard.

The moment he hit the water, it’s safe to say that what raced though his mind was, “Oh oh, I don’t know how to swim but I better do something or else I’m gonna die.”

Do you think he then just folded his arms and sank into the depths? You can bet he didn’t. Instead, he said "I'm going to live – quitting is to fail and is not an option." As he tried to swim and stay above the water and continue breathing he began to realize that he had capabilities and strengths he never knew he had. His burning desire was to succeed, to reach his goal of getting back into the boat and live! Fortunately, because of his committed effort and perseverance he finally reached his survival goal, climbed into the boat and lived happily ever after.

The moral of that story is: when you’re willing to commit to your goal of becoming successful and rich as much as he committed himself to his goal of living, then and only then will you know what it takes to become successful and rich.
