SYNOPSIS

Everyone starts out each day with the same amount of time every other person has. So why is it that some people seem to accomplish so much in the time they have, while others whine and continually complain that, “I just don’t have enough time to do what needs to be done?”

Since time is not an object, you can’t really manage it. Time management is actually your personal management of your own tasks, schedules and activities. People facing a “I have no time” dilemma do not have a shortage of time for when you use time wisely there is always enough time. Basically managing time is an issue of priorities. Most people who complain they don’t have enough are the same people who do things that they shouldn’t be doing rather than working on more important tasks. Most major goals are not achieved because people put second things first.

To do what is advocated in this eBook will require time. Not more of your time, just better use of your time. Peter Drucker, in The Effective Executive1, wrote that, “Nothing else distinguishes effective executives as much as their tender loving care of time.”
